Hello, Pretty Little Studio friends!  Even though it is September 20, it is 91 degrees in Kentucky today. I'm looking forward to cooler temperatures, falling leaves, and pulling out those sweaters and jackets.  My layout, Sweater Weather, is celebrating all things Fall. I wanted to incorporate all of the great colors and patterns in the Ginger Snap collection.

I began by cutting lots of 1/2" strips of patterned paper in various lengths. I arranged those strips in rows. Of course, sweater weather calls for some stitching, so I added rows of chain stitches to every other row. I distressed the background with various stamps and ink from my collection. Finally, I layered larger strips of patterned paper from the Ginger Snap collection behind the photo.  The photo is one of me wearing my favorite Fall sweater.
