Hello and HappMonday, y'all! Misty @Mommyofkidz here with you today sharing my newest layout in my TN art journal. I used the Sun-kissed Collection for this one, it just seemed so appropriate! Actually, I used a combination of physical product that I had on hand, along with Sun-kissed digital products from the Pretty Little Studio Shop. I find it very handy that I can print my own elements to match whatever I am working on...I absolutely LOVE the Pretty Little Studio Digital Product Collection!

Anyway, I wanted to capture the essence of summer as it slowly fades away...and this photo was the perfect way to do that! You can't see it very will in the photo of a photo, but there is a giant dragonfly on my toe! I was just chatting away with friends and one of them noticed the giant insect perched on my toe...not moving. So I took a photo! This is the epitome of summer to me, and I can't even explain why. Just, at that moment, relaxing in the tube in the middle of the lake, chatting with friends and wasting the day away...it is my idea of the perfect summer day.
