Recipe for Fun

Hi Pretty Little Studio friends, it's Kim and I'm back with a layout using the fun Well Read collection. I had this older photo of my youngest granddaughter and all the little flowers on her outfit inspired me for this layout. I make have gone a bit flower crazy, but really can you ever have too many flowers?

I started with white cardstock and the One More Chapter 12x12 Paper. I fussy cut the whole sheet of the gorgeous flowers. I love the flowers on that page so much and they are perfect for fussy cutting. I backed my photo with scraps from the Well Read 6x6 Paper Pack and then, placed all the flowers around it. I like dimension, so I did add foam pads to each flower. I pulled the word recipe from the Autumn Afternoon Words Diecuts and added alphas and the word fun from my stash to complete my title.

My embellishing was very simple for this page. I had already added so many flowers on the background and I didn't want my page to be too busy. I did cut a few of the smaller flowers from a page in the 6x6 Paper Pack and filled in some spots with them. I finished my page by adding a few die cut stars.

Thanks for joining me and have a lovely day! Kim

Hi, I'm Kim. I find playing with paper therapeutic and it brings me such joy. I found the online scrapbooking community during the pandemic and fell in love with it all. I'm a married mom to six and now MomMom to six wonderful grandchildren. The majority of my projects focus on my grandchildren and I have so much fun documenting their lives.
