Family Favorite
Jinny Newlin • October 12, 2026

Welcome to the work week, y'all!  It's Jinny back again today with that second fall page I promised y'all last week.  This one was inspired almost entirely by the Ginger Snap Collection.  Enjoy!

I started this page setting the stage for my photograph, which was matted with white cardstock and backed with a snippet of cheesecloth for that texture y'all know I love so much, in the bottom center of my 12x12 Ledger #6 background page, with a trio of Accent 6x6 Paper Pack prints, as well as a scrap from the Grateful Heart: 8x8 Gratitude - Teal print and an Indian Summer 3x4 Journaling Card, all anchored with gold-threaded, straight, machine stitching.

Just before anchoring those prints, I tucked and layered some Color Swatch Cut-Aparts slightly under and spreading out from the right and left sides.

I then topped the edges of those prints, as well as the bottom layer of color swatches with a quartet of Beautiful Day: Wooden Chevrons, popped up with foam tape and pointing to my photo itself...

before anchoring my entire design with a "Hello Autumn" Autumn Afternoon Word Die Cut, popped up with foam tape and "family favorite" title, which was created from a September 2019 Freebie "family" and an Oct/Nov 2018 Freebie "favorite", the latter of which was popped up with more foam tape.

An Apple Cider Die-Cut Shipping Tag, laced with white string, tied in a bow, crowns my photo.

It was sandwiched between a handful of Dried Flowers Die-Cut stems and bee, all popped up with layers of foam tape...

and grounded with a Wildlife Punch-Out Tag, laced with white string, tied in a bow; popped up with more foam tape; and embellished with a couple of Pile of Leaves Die-Cut acorns, on the right...

and an Autumn Afternoon Word Die-Cut "AND all at ONCE SUMMER COLLAPSED into Fall" Oscar Wilde quote, popped up, once again, with foam tape, on the left.

A "details" Document Life: Seen & Noted Label Die Cut, followed by my handwritten journaling, complete the look.

Thanks so much for humbling us with a visit, Pretty Little Studio family!  Have a wonderful work week!
