Happy Memorial Day Pretty Little Studio friends,

it's Kim and I'm back today with another layout. I used a mix of Candy Cane and You Are My Sunshine collections on my page. I thought because of the holiday, it was a perfect time to scrap this photo of my fifth child, Logan. This picture is from opening day and he was excited for the season to get underway. He plays for our local Special Olympics team and the amount of joy on the field is priceless.

I started by adding various shades of blue splatters to my page and then, I cut out a star. I used packaging from Candy Cane lane for my star and I did have to piece it together. I backed my photo with scraps and for my title I used alphas from my stash.

To embellish this page, I started by pulling out red and blue labels to ground my clusters. I used labels from the Lazy Days Labels Diecuts and the Fruit Cake 6x12 Labels Punch-Outs. I added smaller stars from Under the stars Die-Cuts  and a few Make A Wish Stickers. To finish, I added a few of the tiny Heartfelt Stickers and thread around my stars.
