Hooray for Hollywood! | Sunkissed Collection

Hello to all of my fellow Pretty Little Studio creators! This month I went back to one of the very first Pretty Little Studio collections I ever created with - Sunkissed!

The Sunkissed Ledger pack has so many amazing background papers! I wanted to show off some plant photos with tons of green, and the Greenery 12x12 paper was the perfect choice with the leaves and other fun details. This background did so much of the work for me!

When my husband and I were visiting the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Gardens while on vacation, I fell in love with some of the amazing flowers I saw. There were several varieties of "Hibiscus Hollywood" flowers, and their gorgeous, saturated colors demanded to be documented. I used coordinating colors for the photo mats from the Accent 6x6 pack of papers, and I thought it would be fun to cut the mats in a Polaroid shape to leave some space underneath for captions.

The title "Hooray for Hollywood!" popped into my head right away while I was taking the photos, and I wanted more black accents on the page, so I pulled those mini alphas from the "Well Read" collection. I scattered stars around the page thinking about the Hollywood Stars Walk of Fame. There's a whole die cut pack of Shooting Stars available with this collection.

At the bottom of the page, I used the built-in details on the background page to create some layering. This collection is full of fun tickets to cut out, and I pulled the yellow base from the Ticket Cut-apart sheet. The orange ticket came from Orange Smoothie 12x12, and the yellow border is found in the Scent of Spring Scallops pop-outs.

Here's the final project one more time. I love the memory of this day and how versatile this Sunkissed collection is for documenting all kinds of events and topics!

Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today! I wish you all happy creating! 💛 Wendy
