As we turn from long Summer Days into these much cooler Fall ones, I wanted to play with this older collection that I purchased in a warehouse box from the Pretty Little Studio shop awhile ago. It's a gorgeous collection and I only have pocket cards and other embellishments for it. I grabbed those pocket cards and cut down the 3x5" cards down to 3" squares and then placed them on a 9" piece of white cardstock. I stitched the squares. I also did a little resist technique with some embossing powder and mixed media ink. Then, placed the 9" square in the middle. Once I got that much done, I then added my photo of my husband and I and a few embellishments. I love how this turned out and it was so very simple.
There are also some gold splatters to finish it off!! I have a process video up on my YouTube channel where you can watch this layout come together! Here are some close ups of the layout.
Thank you for spending some time with me today and here's the process video!
