I was blessed to spend some time with both of my daughters on Mother's Day this year, and I was able to grab this beautiful photo of them. There is such a fabulous International Scrapbook Day sketch challenge in the Pretty Little Studio Fans Facebook group, and I knew that sketch would be the perfect showcase for this picture!

I started with the super fun striped Best Friends 12x12 paper as a border, and I used my Love is Kind 6x9 paper pack to start building up the layers.

I had the best time stacking all of these colorful patterns up! I love to outline my papers by running a black Sharpie marker along the edges just to make them pop a little more off the background. It creates a little extra depth.

For the title block, I used the heart border from the Side-by-Side Scallops die cuts for the base of it, and the Friends Forever Word Titles had the "Sister Love" title. A patchwork heart from the Share the Love cut aparts looked just right tucked underneath. Some scattered flowers from the Forget Me Not pack and butterflies from the Two of a Kind pack added to the spring vibes, and I adore the gorgeous yellow cross-hatch tag from the Love is Kind tags!

In the sketch, there is a fun cluster in the top, left corner, so I layered up a label from the Growing Up cut-aparts and a half-bracket from the Be Mine pack. A Pretty Little Studio layout just wouldn't be complete for me without using some of the Sewn With Love stitches stickers too.

The Timeless Tape Pieces had a wonderful light blue piece that was a great landing place for a few of the phrase stickers in this line on the You & Me word stickers sheet. After some final stamping, this colorful and happy layout was finished!
