Hi Friends! Today I decided to play along with the August Scraplift Challenge just for fun! You will be able to play along with this and the other August challenges for a chance to win the monthly prize! All of the information is on the Facebook group linked above.  This gorgeous layout was created by designer, Misty Foresman.

For my layout, I am using the Love is Kind collection. I started with the Side by Side Ledger paper as my background.  I chose several papers that I had previously cut into for other layouts including Little Moments, Sugar Coated, Best Friends, You're a Peach, Cherry on Top and Fruitylicious (which I fussy cut). I used tore strips of these and used them to layer down the left side of the layout just as Misty had done on her layout. I also tucked some Timeless Tape Pieces stickers into the layers. I added some sticker stitches in black and colors.

When my background was down I added my title (which I cut from the Best Friends paper and some black paper on my cricut). I also used mini abc's in mint and teal and in daffodil to complete my title. I tucked a little die cut banner under the word BEE. The bees I added were from the You are my Sunshine collection.

After I added my photos I finished up with several cute little flowers from the Forget Me Not diecut pack. This came together fairly quickly and I am really glad to have these sweet photos in my granddaughter's album! She just turned 3 and I have so many fun layouts still to create!
