Hello and Happy Monday to all my Pretty Little Studio Friends! Misty @Mommyofkidz here with you today sharing a new layout based on the new September Sketch! I used the Love is Kind Collection for this one because I just adore the soft colors, especially for this particular subject that I am scrapping about. I used bits and pieces from several different packages from this collection, beginning with the base page coming from the 12x12 Double Sided Pack. I love the ledger look as a base...and If I decide that I want to write on it, then the lines are aIready there! I used the Love is Kind Clear Pack paired with the Vellum Pack to create the Shaker Hexagon shape at the bottom of the photo. I think it was a perfect addition.
If you look real close, you will see another addition I snuck in there. Do you see it? I used the Sewn with Love Clear Stickers to add the look of texture in a few places, including the top and bottom of the photo. The You and Me Word Stickers also made an appearance in this layout! I have scattered a few of my favorite ones around the photo. Making suer they matched was easy. Making sure they looked good where I wanted to put them was a bit more challenging.
I have three or four groupings, which I clustered in with other grouping that already existed. The sticker strips are so very tiny and they can get lost in a design if you place them in the wrong place...they run the risk of not being seen at all. I did not want that!! I hope I found all the right spaces and all the best places to insert my tiny stickers! LOL Peep the one that says Puppy Love where my Grand Dog is looking at the ultrasound pic...I just couldn't resist that one!
