Hello Pretty Little Studio Friends! Misty @Mommyofkidz here with you today sharing a new layout in my art journal/traveler's notebook.  Whatever you call it, it is a great way to keep your thoughts and ideas together in one place that is actually a lot more personal than a full album. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE working with 12x12 layouts. It is "My Jam". However, I have noticed, as my kids get older, I don't really have a reason to keep all the various albums that I once had. And, as I get older, I am finding that I want to write my thoughts down for them to read someday when I am gone. Not just facts about an event or statistics about their sports teams. My actual THOUGHTS on them, on their accomplishments, on their chosen career path, partners, and choices. I want to get all mushy and MOM like...all up in my feels. So, rather than putting it into albums that everyone will see, ore saying it out loud and embarrassing them, I write it here. I actually consider my notebook as more of a journal or diary
That brings me to the Traveler's Notebook that I have been working in this past year or so. I have shared a few layouts here and there... you can look them up if you'd like. For this layout, I decided to do a page about myself. Me. I used the M that I cut for the Ginger Snap Ledger page using the Baby Claire digital alphas.. I also used a few other pieces of the digital ephemera.  The Nature Walk is flipping awesome and I love the colors! I did mix in a lot of Ginger Snap from my stash, like the word stickers and the banner. The store may be closed for a while, but the digital collections are still available!
