Hello Pretty Little Studio friends! Today I'm sharing another 12" x 12" layout created with one of my favorite Pretty Little Studio collections: "Well Read". Last Sunday my daughter attended a book market together with the publisher of her books and one other author. People could buy her signed books and have a chance to talk with her, as author of the books. I found it really special to watch. I was so proud of her! What better collection than Well Read to document this moment. Here's what I made: 

For the base of my layout I chose a sheet of white cardstock which I matted on a sheet of blue cardstock. Then I printed 3 photos measuring 6 cm x 8 cm and placed them in a vertical row on the left side of my page. I cut three strips of paper and placed these below the row of photos. Next I placed a journaling card on the right side as well as several fun die-cuts:

I really love the many die-cuts in this collection, like this cat sitting on top of a pile of books:

Next I created a cluster for the top right of my layout:

I added a super fun die-cut of a bookmark on the left of the photos:

And above my photos I placed this little die-cut:

For the finishing touch I machine stitched around my layout and also over many of the die-cuts. I also wrote a few lines of journaling and added some blue and silver paint drops.
